WooowwWWWOOoooo!!! GORGEOUS solo from Catherine, super cool line up . The circle of players on MPS were for sure a BIG plus to the 70's. Gotta agree w/ Tarabos, get Toto Blanke , (Spider's Dance) or Dave Pike w/ Eberhard Weber and Volker Kriegel, (Salomao) if you can. Orangefunk...THANKS for posting this!

crisp, light on it's feet. He played on 'Amy' by Elton John around then
-
Excellent performance as I might expect from a virtuoso.
-
This is actually the only track on the King Kong album that was written by Ponty, not FZ.
-
Love the way he butchers the English Lang. )

The musicians are all great, but the music has not the swing and the power met in the video recording of Zappa and JLP available here, gregary peccary or something close.
Anyway the quality of the image make us so close, so actual, even the late Trunk, disappeared the year after.

Bunísimo video. Impresionante la calidad de imagen y para que hablar del maestro Jean Luc...Que es lo más grande que hay. No hay dos lecturas para definir al gran Jean luc

This is from a german TV archive (NDR? / Bayern3 ?) These were the early MPS days. Many european and american Jazz musicians colloborated in german studios than...this is a rare line up (Bassist Peter Trunk died 1 or 2 years later by a car accident!) When you can find the rare MPS label LPs listen to Association P.C:, PORK PIE, Kühn Brothers, ETCETERA, TOTO BLANKE`s ELECTRIC CIRCUS, VOLKER KRIEGEL GROUP etc. Creativity at its high... urgently recommended for Jazz/Fusion lovers........!!
