@scratchyboy you are a prat, Kylie has been honoured because she has the ability to move with the decades, she is the only female artist to have had 4 no 1 albums in each decade and the only female solo artist to also have number 1 single at the start of the 21st century, Madonna still has not managed this to date. Her shows are sold out all around the world, it not just gay people who love her she is a true entertainer, not like the wannabbes today.

She is just a singer, yes, but a very popular one, the most played woman on UK radio in the last 20 years - so her music, however lightweight most of it may be, has given a lot of feel good pleasure to many many people - why shouldnt she be recognised for that just as Julie Walters was for her work?
