I heard that much of the movie was ad-libbed. The director let the actors do their own thing and they just went to town.

What makes this great is that even though its over 30 years old it still is pretty accurate display of the private club world, if youve ever worked in a club you can totally relate someone in your club to all the characters in this movie.

@NickESantoro According to a documentary I saw on Caddyshack EVRYONE, cast and crew, had to struggle not to laugh so they would not ruin the audio track
