When I throw it always curves off to the right so that it ends up rolling on the ground. What am I doing wrong?

You've got everything horribly wrong, the other foot goes forward, the grip normally only has 2 fingers on the inside of the disc and the best way to catch is in a clapping motion. This needs to be taken off for any beginners sake.
