this is my real life speed test of Clearwire.
as you may have guessed, Clearwire is really slow. Just enjoy watching Beryl + Linux as it takes almost 4 minutes to load 4 very common websites.

My experience has been the same. I can consistently get 5 bars, however, my speeds harken back to dial-up days. I have to pause Youtube Vids to allow them to fully load before I can watch them without delays. Clearwire is without a doubt, THE WORST isp I have ever used!

MY speedtest shows me speeds lately of..... and I shit you not. 0.06 Download and, get this shit, 0.26 upload. how the fuck does that shit happen? Then coned my wife into a 2 year contract while I was at work. Even though we told them and the bank to stop taking money out of our band they still do it, so we get fucked out of about $40 a month, unexpectedly and the speeds still don't go up. they told my wife that the speed will go down if we are later on the bill. still slow after it's paid. WTF!

@ANIMAL7tfl it's not for anything, not even checking internet. you know, 5 bars sometimes takes 5 MINUTES to load google. speed tests run from 200kbps to 1.3mb/s never 1.5 like I am paying for and never consitently. you can do 3 tests in a row and get any speed anytime, half the time the upload is faster than the download at 250kbps. And you know what? I ASKED THE GUY if it would be ok for gaming being wireless and all. KNOW WHAT HE SAID? YES. So stfu and quit defending this scam.

Right after I got clearwire I started having troubles with online gaming then they tell me they don't support online gaming when the salesman told me that the service was great for online gaming. I call them again tell them that i can barely play a you tube video then they say they don't support video streaming.Shitwire is the biggest waste of money ever! I am ending my service and going to comcast!
