@8swordedninja You seem to misunderstand what I mean, the Skyline is a supercar beater, but even disregarding the conservative figures the Japanese put out, an R34 for example produces around 340BHP.
-
@MrORLY not gonna lie, but i think its a mix of functional performance and brutish power. 99 skyline is an example, its 50% silicon. its literally a computer.
-
honestley, who the fuck drifts a droptop 350z haah?
-
dat shizz was sexyy even though my older bros car looks better
-
@MrORLY no hate on japanese cars, but porsche has been very succesful in every type of racing as well. they are just not as commonly seen
-
all i can say anyone who can drift a car around a corner at 60 miles know how to drive
-
how could the porshce driver see anything with all that smoke? that's skills
-
@ZOMGITZDAN oh i see, i don't care much for the drifting scene, i just appreciate the drivers and the skill
-
@xxdmdxx If my understanding is correct, rear engined cars would most likely be banned because front engine and rear engined cars handle very differently in a drift, meaning that it can be difficult for the judges to judge accurately and it can also make tandems alot harder.... Nobody wants a long distance tandem!
Hardly, you didn't get my arguement at all, i said Japanese cars are in nearly every aspect of motorsport. They're in Rally, Touring cars, Drifting, Drag Racing etc... The only things European cars are good at is plain track racing, Japanese cars can do that and successfully while being able to do completely different things and the GT-R is the only supercar on the market because Japanese go for functional performance over brutish power.
