It's interesting how DK is the main star of his segment, and Mario is the lesser character.

The saturday supercade lasted 2 years...the first year, it was Frogger, Donkey Kong, Pitball and QBert (alternating weeks), and Donkey Kong Jr. Then Frogger, Pitball and DK Jr. was yanked, replaced by Space Ace and Kangaroo for season two. Although the supercade was just a two year deal, Donkey Kong would appear in syndication for awhile.
