It looks like Jolicloud.

@vhanla A web OS is different from a regular os. It seems silly to have an os Running inside an web browser, but it allows you to access your files from anywhere.

Wow. Yes, this is what everyone needs, a way to burn through their bandwidth faster.

Apps, apps, apps, apps. God how I hate what that word has become. It's just a buzz word now and deserves no respect. I'll grant Apple their apps. They can have whatever they want. Apple made the word mainstream. Soooooooooooooooooo fucking mainstream.
Anyway, HTML 5 failed twice. WebOS was HTML based. No one wants this shit. Yes it's great that you can code something and it can run on anything .. but there lies the weakness.
And when it comes to games you are basically saying, JAVA or GTFO.

Does it run Flash?

@DellPrecisionM60 lol yes, I think they're making a desktop *app* for it too, but not an os and it doesn't require installation like an operating system would, though I still call it an operating system since it has most the features of an os.

@siddharthgoel88 Ha ha, there have been over 20,000 sign ups already, I'm not sure we can publicize it any more.
You guys don't seem to get the concept of an operating system inside a browser, the whole point is that by accessing it from a web browser, you can get it from any computer or device you want! All it requires from my testing is 96mb of ram, a 533mhz or better processor, and a modern web browser (chrome, opera, firefox, safari--not yet internet explorer, although it works in IE8, it's unusable.). It is also free storage for files, great for businesses. Once you use it, you will understand more.=)

OS? I don't get it, if I need a webbrowser to run it, then it is a webapp, not an OS: What about hardware, memory management and many other critical OS stuff?
