Kent Hovind is/was a Creationist lecturer and radio host. One night, he got a call from a Canadian named "Martin," who sounded deceptively young. But when Hovind tried to attack him, he found that Martin was more prepared then he thought. It's one of the most thorough dominations of an Evolution/Creation debate that I've ever heard. The first few minutes of this clip were posted by someone else, so I figured I'd post the rest of it. Along with some visual commentary by me. Hope you enjoy it.

BTW, Kent Hovind is the higher, Southern-sounding voice. The third voice that occassionally shows up is Jonathan, Kent's co-host.

Featuring Kent Hovind, the evangelist who styles himself "Dr. Dino" and runs the Creation Science Evangelism ministry as well as Dinosaur Adventure Land, a small creationist theme park in Pensacola, Florida.

Kent Hovind was sentenced to ten years in federal prison on January 19, 2007. In November 2006, a federal jury found Hovind guilty of fifty-eight charges, including failing to pay payroll taxes for his employees.

cont.) Actually, because of all the things I've learned, both in the classroom and on the street, this feeling is even stronger. Of course, I cannot expect everyone to have spent as much time as I have studying this subject (Anthro. major, Bio minor), but then why do most people talk about this subject as if they have? It just scares me that people who claim to be the moral authorities are either purposely lying, or ignoring the truth, which is the same thing. Is that what Jesus would do?

As much as I detest Hovind and his ilk, and enjoy seeing them taken to task for their deceitfull, hypocritical antic's, this also depresses me. I know that we all see the world out of our own window, and I can't expect everyone to see thing's the same way I do. However, even as a young child in a strict Lutheran school & home, the idea of god & creationism seemed so obviously absurd that it was impossible for me to believe anyone REALLY believed it. And to be honest, I still feel that way cont.
