History is always close at hand at Oswaldtwistle Mills - the clatter of the weaving looms easy to imagine in the vast areas of the old weaving sheds. There is a selection of Lancashire looms in the Textile Time Tunnel, which once worked hard in the old Moscow Mill. Go back 3000 years to the early 1700's and imagine you too, ate, worked and slept in a single room cottage. This walk through attraction features images, sounds and artifacts from Lancashire's history - we even have a 'Spinning Jenny' which was invented by James Hargreaves, an ancestor of the Mill's current owners.
