When I was in jr. high school around this time (1970), lunch cost $0.50 cents, which got you a meat, a veggie or 2, milk and a desert!! It wasn't the greatest cooking, but I'd choose it over taking a box of Kelloggs Special K to school!!?? Why does Eddie take the whole box, didn't they have some Tupperware or something?? And they'd better be careful about being spied-on in their kitchen, as a microphone appears at the top of the screen at about the 0:15 second point...

  • Yes, Kellogg's was a regular sponsor on "THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE"S FATHER" at that time; it was the custom for the star and/or cast to appear in an "integrated commercial" for the sponsor at the end of the program (as Bill and Ray Walston often did, when Kellogg's was the primary sponsor of "MY FAVORITE MARTIAN").

  • The character Norman Tinker, played by James Komack (sitting on the counter) was awesome.

  • Now that's just so cute. Love Bill Bixby! Thanks for sharing.
