@JetMechMA Yeah, I guess you're right. My point was actually that this fighter shouldn't have been retired. The F-15E can't fulfill its role.

JM: Good looks almost always shows that it was well designed. Symetry. Very few ugly success stories. The B-52 is one exception.

But this one looks good anyway and regardless of the paint you put on it. Good looks doesn't win battles and wars, performances and firepower do. This aircraft's retirement was such a shame. But it doesn't matter, now the Russians have the most powerful tactical bomber, the Su-34, right?
