The Lucid Dream (short film) - Teaser Trailer

This is a rather hastily-done teaser for the Lucid Dream short film that I am working on. I know it has just been one delay after another, but it WILL get done.

"What is this short film, anyway?"

Well, there are two answers for that.

1) As a project, 'The Lucid Dream' was something I decided to do to see how good of a movie I could make COMPLETELY on my own. I wrote the script, I did all the set up, I ran the camera, I acted all the parts, I edited, I composited, and I even did the voiceover for the trailer. About the only thing that I didn't do was compose the music, which I considered, but concluded I didn't have enough time.

2) As a story, The Lucid Dream is a retelling of a bunch of my real lucid dreams all rolled into one, with minor modifications to make them all fit as a consistent story arc. If you don't know what lucid dreaming is, just watch the trailer to get a definition, and then look it up on the internet to find out how you can start having your own lucid dreams. I recommend it. You could have experiences very much like this short film every night (if you are an adventurous person like me and would want to, that is)!

No, there is still no release date for the film...it just gets done when it gets done.

@KolaCooler Well there's not really any trickery going on here...that's just my voice. A couple tips though: I made sure to drink a lot of water while working on recording, and I used a voice exercise beforehand to make sure my range was as good and strong as possible. @KolaCooler lol no problem. If I were 13 you'd know it; I had a really high voice as a kid. Then it changed and ever since it's been lower than all of my friends' voices :P

Congratulations mr . :-) you have inspired me showing that I can do anything and you should be proud making a movie on your own. Ppl could learn a thing or two from you .

@CloudWatcherX Thanks! It's still hard to say when it will be completed, since the film keeps on getting longer (it was supposed to just be 3 or 4 minutes, and it's already at 10 right now) but it should be released within the next month some time :)

wow i have to see this!!!!! first off i am a lucid dreamer and this is the kind of movie i have been looking for!!!!! actually i thought i would make a movie based on my lucid dreams and regular dreams......i would have to make up a lot since i am not that good at lucid dreaming yet....but hey looks like you beat me to it. now i just look forward to seeing this! *puts in favorites* :) i wish you the best of luck with this!
