what format does the video camera save the clips to on its harddrive

it saves in avchd which most computer's don't recognize. you'll have to get a conversion software that changed the file into a acceptable file.

1. does it have night mode (or watever its called lol)

2. whats the songs name??

I'm not sure if it has a night mode or not. I do know that night mode will be quite grainy with or without HD.

The song is a random youtube song that was put over my original video sounds.

What are the advantages of shooting in 24p on the HG20? I know its supposed to give it a cinematic feel, but what does that do in terms of movement? I have a sample video i took in 24p with the HG20.

I absolutely HATE HATE HATE running cinema mode and 24p on this camera.

When I upload it to youtube, its so choppy.

My favorite setting is 30p on portrait mode. It gives the best platback on youtube AND watching it at home via hdmi

it's a .mts file. Adobe CS4 recognizes it. This camera has such rich color. I love it.
