Fullmetal Alchemist FanStoryboard - Thank Goodness from Wicked

FanStoryboard? Is that even a word? Well, that's what this thing is.

My assignment for my storyboarding class was to take a 4-minute song from a musical and take any pre-existing animated character we could find a modelsheet for and storyboard a sequence using those. I picked Thank Goodness from Wicked using Fullmetal Alchemist characters.

Since we were free to run with this assignment wherever we wanted, I decided to make it kind of an FMA fan story. In this scenario, taking place after Conquerer of Shambala, Winry has somehow found a way to bring back one, and only one, of the Elric brothers back from the other side of the Gate. So in desperation she brings Ed back, at the cost of separating the brothers once again. The result has them out of character, I admit, but I thought it was a pretty good fit.

Also, Winry and Ed's names have been temporarily changed to Glinda and Fiyero. And Pinako is apparently a huge EdxWin fan.

Despite not having very many cleaned up panels, I got an A on this assignment. :)

@RandomKPluver Thanks! But I'm afraid this /is/ the final product. This was done only for a storyboarding class, so it wasn't meant to be anything but a storyboard. I don't have time to do anything else with it, unfortunately.

Thats amazing! Is Noah elphiba in this case? and do you have any recomendations for storyboarding classes? I would absolutely love to do one!

@MossclawHarryPotter Well, I wouldn't really say Noah is Elphaba, because that would mean Ed and Noah would get together in the end and I'm not a huge fan of that. xD Actually, I sorta took what was said in the song and tried to apply it to a completely different story within the FMA universe, so it's not a direct transplant.

As for classes, the one I'm taking now is part of my curriculum at a university, so I'm not really familiar with stand-alone courses that I could recommend. Sorry. :(

@HikaruNessa I used ToonBoom Storyboard Pro, but really all you need is any sort of drawing tool (photoshop, or good old pencil and paper) and a basic video editor to put the panels together to sound. :)
