  • Nice performance. I'v played this Steve Howe interpretation myself and it's a bit of a challenge. I'v never played it as well as I just watched you play it. Watching you is keeping me humble. I'm such a Youtube snob. I wont give guys my age a second glance. But if someone is young and playing really well I'm interested. I'm almost certain Steve Howe is the same way. I'v been watching him at shows for years. He connects with the younger audience. Like at the Cotton Club, Sept. 7, 2000 Django

  • @DjangosBurntFingers I´m happy that you like my video. I feel really glad about your comment, but don´t feel like that! In a way I could play all this songs becouse internet exist when I was a boy, so it was easy to find Steve playing this song as many other. ! I´m not a genius, only a guy who really love what Steve as many others incredibles musicians have done. So feel fine my friend! :)

  • Julian, you're really getting it "right". I don't mean just the music but you've got the right perspective about the "Grand Scheme of Things". Personally speaking, I have a bit of a wild side. I think it's an American thing, maybe. Of course, YOU are an American too! If you are able to find the time you might check out CREEPSKE who is putting tribute videos to Artists who have passed on. I just discovered his Elliot Smith tribute this morning. It was a really nice thing to do for Elliot. PLAY!

  • Really enjoyed your version of Dowland - you have very nicely kept the mood of the original. I had a go at translating Dowland for Blues Slide Guitar. You can see my attempts at Mr Dowland's Midnight and Orlando Sleepeth on my carsickphil channel. Do you think you could take your version further into Jazzier territory and still keep the mood?

  • @alexmejia26 Muchas Gracias!!

  • @ProgMom67 Thanks very much Julie! I am really happy for you have a really great time! =D
