Pitbull fights Bengal cat

This is Sam the Old English Bulldog and Maddie the Bengal Siamese cross cat playing in the garden. Sam is a rescue dog. He had a bad start in life, was named Warrior by his first owners, dressed in a studded harness, not exercised properly, not trained and as he grew up he became uncontrollable and was booked in to be put down. Then a dog rescue network heard of him, I received an email and agreed to take him. After a difficult first month or so, he turned into a lovely, playful, friendly dog. Then I gave Ruth Maddie the kitten as a present, and Sam befriended her. To begin with, he just lay near her, when she was tiny, and he kept very still as she explored him. Then she started to play with him and they became great friends. Sam loved Maddie.

Then Maddie was run over and killed.

We showed Sam her body, so he could understand what had happened. He looked very carefully, sniffed her, then he went indoors and lay down. For the next couple of weeks he mourned her, there's no other way to put it. He was morose, had no energy, spent his time lying by the fireplace.

One day, while he was still grieving, Ruth picked up Maddie's collar in the kitchen and the little bell rang. Sam sat up, excitedly, then ran into the kitchen. He looked for Maddie, but she wasn't there. Then he went out to the garden, to the spot where he had last seen her body, and sniffed the spot where she had lain. Then, sadly, he walked back indoors, went back to the fireplace and lay down. He knew his friend was gone.

Ahh sad story you could see from the vid that the dog and cat where really close. The cat clearly was a bad ass thou!
