April 12, 1997 vs Buffalo

It is the last game of the regular season, and the Senators must win to advance to the playoffs for the first time in modern franchise history. After playing nearly 56 minutes, Steve Duchesne takes a pass from Alexei Yashin and beats Dominik Hasek. The goal would stand and Ottawa would advance to the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.
