Lewis Hamilton won the British Grand Prix of 2008 at Silverstone , this video is a sim I put together of that great race using GP4, captured in Fraps at 1920 x 1080 then scaled down to 1280 x 720 for Youtube.

Its not a perfect sim, there are plenty of things not correct but Lewis does win.

Oh! and the music is something I put together.

  • Want to tell us what modifications you used? Thanks

  • The cars were from various GP4 forums, most of them came from racesimulations

I made the custom information bar along the top and its a GpxCinfo Panel.

I also made a Physics file specifically for this race to keep the cars in the correct order and try to make them do the correct lap times. Applied in GpxSet.

Game was run on an Intel Quad core Q9400 overclocked to 3.4Ghz. And an ATI X1950 with 8 x AA in Windows XP SP3 32 Bit.

  • How did you manage to run the game in 1920x1080?

  • Open the f1graphics.cfg file in notepad and manually put in what ever resolution you want:

1920; [RELEASE] Game 3D Horizontal Resolution

1080; [RELEASE] Game 3D Vertical Resolution
