Courtesy of Rainbow talking books and a bit of messing around on my part, this is possibly the paciest version of this film you will ever see! Or need to see, maybe. Or just the only version you ever want to see? I don't know, you tell me.

He and spock put on spacesuits and entered the alien ship itself?! Even the story book hints out the missing memory wall scene, this would be great thing to see on blu ray.

Having seen some of the rough cuts on the Director's Edition DVD, I'd have to disagree - about as exciting as adding in the Rock Man footage from Star Trek V ;-)

Though it looks like the blu-ray of Motion Picture will be the original theatrical release, meaning that's one I won't be getting :-(

The same story told in 10 minutes instead of 2 1/4 hours. This tape shows just how padded and overlong the actual movie was.

@C12830772 In a way I can see them as Vulcan uniforms. But you're right that those belt buckles are just too stupid.  A full black belt like on the Wrath of Khan uniforms or of the same colour, then THAT I can understand. IF they were Vulcan.
