Gunter Von Hagens' body Worlds 2 is a popular exhibit now on display at Houston's Museum of Natural Science. It shows the human body from the inside out. A pageant was held Saturday to find "Mr. Anatomy," to represent the exhibit.
The exhibit travels from city to city. Organizers want to find a "Mr. Anatomy" in every city. They hope it turns into a nationwide competition but, for now Houston is first. Organizers searched for one fine specimen to be called "Houston's Fittest Man."
Five contestants entered the competition. One 56-year-old marathon runner, Christopher Rampacek entered the contest hoping to beat the younger men. After a workout, complete with squats and abdominal work, Larry Crowe emerged as the winner.
Crowe will make his debut at the Chevron Jingle Bell Fun Run. He is expected to finish the 26-mile marathon. Mr. Anatomy will also have his body painted, so he can look inside out.
Body Worlds 2 will continue at the Museum of Natural Science through February 2009.
