We're starting a fashion revolution. It's called shwopping.

M&S have a big idea - shwopping. It's time to open your mind, your heart, your arms and your wardrobe. Shwopping is a way of living and thinking, because we think that old clothes shouldn't just be thrown out, they should do some good. They should have a future.

So every time you buy something new, give us something old - it doesn't even have to be from M&S. We'll pass the clothes on to our partners, Oxfam.
Clothes are either resold, reused or recycled. It's brilliant because nothing goes to landfill. The money raised goes to help people in poverty.

Remember when we used to just throw away bottles? Now we recycle them without even thinking about it. Well, why can't we do the same with clothes? We believe that recycling now will make your life easier in the future. Come into M&S stores with those trousers and jackets and shirts and jumpers and put them in the Shwop Drop.

Our aim is to recycle as many clothes as we sell and change the way we shop. Forever. Come on, let's go shwopping.

Or you could give clothes directly to charity shops/recycling plants so that you don't have to buy clothes before you help people.

An associate at crawley m&s told us you get a £5 voucher when you do this, but I can find no mention of this anywhere. Can someone explain how to get the voucher?

What are you talking about? I doubt anyone in this country has had any made up Jewish words inflicted on them and the Yiddish word "Schmuck" has only become U.S. slang from what I have heard.

This has nothing to do with Jews anyway, shwop = shop + swap.
