  • and to think that Japan paid for a lot of the war.

  • The 747's were ex-KLM ones.

  • So true...

  • It did poorly due to the gulf war in the early 90's. The asian community was told not to fly on U.S. carriers because of the war.

  • America West had 747s before. They used the 747s mostly for flights to Honolulu. AWA used Honolulu as a stop for the service to Nagoya.

  • Wow,They had a 747???...Thats RARE!

  • I know and it did very poorly and they should have just flown to another part of Asia.
