This song was written by my wife a few months before she died of Ovarian Cancer in Feb this year (2009). It is set to many photos of her during the three years that she battled the disease. As her husband I would like to share her songs that she wrote during her cancer, treatment and final months of life. She wrote, sang and played all the instruments on this song. We always looked at life as a glass half full not empty. She has been very inspirational to the many people who knew her. She and we never gave up hope as this is sometimes all you have. She wrote this soon after Jayne McGrath passed away and was dedicated to her while she underwent her own battle.

  • That is the nicest thing any one could do for another.. lovely. Sorry about your loss. I hope your life is now complete again. Tracey

  • Wow, I'm having a hard time coming up with words. This song is so beautiful. I'm fighting Ovarian Cancer right now and have been since 2005. I think that's our biggest fear is that our loved ones will forget about us when we're gone. Stupid I know because without a doubt I know my husband and children love me and would never forget about me.I pray as your wife did for you that my husband and children will move on. What a special person she was and thank you so much for sharing this song/video.

  • i'm about to hear if i have terminal ovarian cancer today. i am sobbing uncontrollably. this song is beautiful and profound, yet has a playfulness to it. i hope my husband moves on (though i still have pangs of jealousy), but i want him to think of me on occasion. i hope you are doing well. this was such a sweet, sweet thing for you to do for your partner.

  • So sorry to hear about your loss, amazing voice your wife had. Thanks for sharing.
