  • Oh good grief! Another asshat elitist who wants to tell all of us how to live.

Listen to him tell us all about how freaking great he is and you are not, and what we should do now to make him happy.

If you did the "calculations" or as you state "re-calculations" where is it published, Mr. Scott? This way we can check your work to make sure your government school education adds up.

  • Well done for showing another point of view from america.

We have constantly got derision from americans over the years for trying to economise with vehicles emissions and consumption.

  • It takes more electricity to produce a gallon of gas than it takes to move an electric car the same distance. So by switching to electric your using less electricity there for you will use less electricity and will be less demand on the grid.

  • Many thanks to Paul Scott for explaining the drawbacks with fuel cell and hydrogen cars.

  • Great vid

note: Imo even Lead Acid batteries are mostly ok in winter for commuting, I personally know someone that has tested an electric car in the 90s(car still works btw) and asked him what about winter(Canada)? he told me the charge is reduced but that since he was not using 100% of a charge it did not matter (ex: if you use 50% on your daily commute, it makes no difference if battery is 60% or 100% youll get back home and recharge for the next day). Heating takes about 10% of energy
