I thought you said on your podcast that the crowd was dead silent when Miley Cyrus came out onto the stage, Ricky! 04:27 shows that the crowd was rather pleased with the surprise! Were you lying of some sort?

Nope, I said the crowd was dead silent when clips of Miley movies (Hannah Montana) were played during the opening movie montage. The crowd applauded most all of the film clips, but not hers. Plus, the volume of the applause heard in this Disney-released video is not indicative of what it sounded like in real life. The loudness of the cheers for Miley wasn't nearly what it would have been had the audience been filled with big Miley fans.
