In My Seat - A Pilot's Story from Sept 10th - 11th

September 10, 2001, First Officer Steve Scheibner packed his suitcase and waited for the phone call finalizing his assignment to fly American Airlines Flight 11, from Boston to Los Angeles. The call never came. In My Seat recounts the events leading up to Flight 11 and the subsequent death of Tom McGuinness in the seat that should have been filled by Steve Scheibner.

Even though I'm an Atheist, I found your story to be very humbling and inspirational. Your perspective of life is truly an example of how people should live given the experience you had. 9/11 was truly a heartbreaking day for the US, and I'll never forget it.

I am Catholic and proud of that fact. The faith of Steve Scheibner matters not only his message which strikes me on several levels. I plan on sharing this video with my Pastor to underscore for him the evil in the world and our collective lack of attention and passion toward all evils. My parish is like many where we dare not speak clearly on the many faces of evil in our world, even in my small community. We bother ourselves with environmental issues and being happy. Pablum! Amen brother! I can truly relate to this since my husband is a pilot for a major carrier, he flies the 757/767 aircraft and was flying the day of 911. I can so relate with the airline life, crew scheduling etc and how it all works. We are Christians and every day I pray for safety for my dear one. We don't know if we have tomorrow. We like you want to stand before our Lord and hear Him say well done my good and faithful servant.
