DO use WD40 on a bike! just be carefull, dont spray it on tyres and brakes though, brakes obvoius why really (they work by friction/grip! if your a bit slow) and tyres for a similar reason but alos if will eat away at the rubber! anywhere else get happy! it will severely reduce corrosion and make cleaning easier too :P (although i do prefer GT 85 it smells nicer :D!

Your film didn't help me, but you look trustworthy, so I'm going to ask anyway:
I found a Raleigh Cameo from 1981 in my shed, and I can't get the front wheel to come off. It looks like you should be able to just knock it out once you've unscrewed the side things, but it won't budge. The wheel still goes round, so it's not rusted solid. It has a bolt through the middle (like an axle) with some nuts on it which I've removed. Am I meant to remove the axle thing? Should I knock it harder? Help!

No! I'm not trustworty!
suggest putting the nuts back on and considering the quality of the tyres.

why let the tires down if you disconnected the brake cables?

I should specialise in Wilko's products later.
