this is my son at 2 and 4 weeks old. he was finally diagnosed with silent reflux (he never spit up, so I did not suspect reflux)at 5 weeks old. This is torture to watch, but if your Pediatrician keeps telling you it is "just colic" and there is nothing they can do.... take yourself and baby to a GI specialist for an accurate diagnosis. I hope this video can help another mom.

  • Hi Nanlisa,

My MD did not recomment a specialist, I looked one up on th einternet and took him myself. Nothing that the pediatrician recommended was helping so I took it upon myself to get more help (from the pediatric gastroenterologist).

  • I feel for you this was one of the most difficult times in my life. By about 10 weeks he was doing much better but would still cry a lot in the evenings. He was also put on Nutramigen @ 5 weeks and continued to improve. Because of the reflux and feeding issues though, my son lost almost a pound in the first few weeks of life and did not get back to his birth weight until he was 6 wks old. He never really caught up and is still very small. Try the Nutramigen if you haven't already. Good Luck

  • @Yanosh10111 yeah but it can help other people who's baby does the same thing and they don't know what's wrong, might be that push they need to get baby to a pediatrician...

  • Wtf is wrong here????? Getting a video of a baby crying doesn't amuse people. Dumbass idiots

  • oh poor baby!

  • poor baby

  • Did your pediatrician give you a referral to a GI specialist?

  • Both my sons had reflux, first one was a spit up baby and the second was a silent reflux baby, completely different. My first son had surgery to fix it but the second one disappeared by his 1st birthday.
