@imwithes05 as for me having no idea what I am doing I am an amateur freelance videographer and have made over $1000 in the past month shooting videos with my "shitty" dslr. I'll be completely honest, the way you have presented yourself points towards you being the incest hillbilly in this situation. Also you say dslr's have no place in the filmmaking game. Canon dslr's were used for shooting quite a few shots in Captain America and Red Tails as well as quite a few other films I'm sure.

@imwithes05 I would hardly call myself and incest hillbilly but whatever helps you sleep at night friend. I decided on the rokinon because I like the clean look of that fisheye and it is plenty wide enough for me. I have no problem with people using hvx's or fx1's(pvg's don't exist (;) I simply think that for the filmmaker on a budget a dslr is a great option. Have you seen Jason Hernandez's footage? He does a fantastic job with a dslr. if you get the chance go to my channel and watch "alright"

@imwithes05 zooms aren't a necessary part of good video. Creative long lens panning and sliding etc. can be much more interesting. I disagree on transworld putting out the best videos. I find Nike SB's videos to better made. onto the next comment now... I actually detest lil wayne and drake with great passion. I like classic rock and some indy music for the most part. I did not watch reviews. I used one and decided it was THE BEST uncontested camera for the price. continued in a second buddy.

I am well aware that there are more than one sd camera's. I have filmed with most of them(all the vx's, a dvx, a dvc30, and a gl1 and a gl2) and they are just outdated and irrelevant in todays industry. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about on the dslr's. What attachment are you talking about to zoom? to be continued in next comment...

@Paintball0599 ... an incest hillbilly and saw you could get an opteka dslr bayo that gives no distortiont, but you decided it was a good solution cause it had no vig. hd skateboarding is cool hvxs and fx1s and pvgs are all great but im yet to see something come out of a dslr camera that doesnt look like an iphone video with i phone sound and a keychain iphone magnet fisheye. dlsr blows and if its the future of skate videos then we might as well keep buying those solo itunes parts

@Paintball0599 i don't know if your aware but theirs more than one sd camera.. dslr fisheye sucks and to verify it hardly any professional filmers use it. come to think of it dslr long lens sucks to cause you need an attachment to zoom and even then unless you get a battery operated zoom its choppy as fuck. im guessing you dont film but if you do then you would know transworld puts out probably the best made/filmed videos...
