If there really is a god (which I seriously doubt very much) then why would he create certain people with a genetically proven homosexual gene, and then write in his holy book that being homosexual is wrong? I am a heterosexual male, and I wouldn't be attracted to another male if you paid me - so clearly, to anyone with a brain, homosexual people are fundamentally different to me.

In some kind of twisted way I think I understand them, a little bit that is.

I mean if you TRULY believe without doubt that a God dictated the "Holy book" what seems most logical to me is following the "Holy book" literally, even though it's absurd.

With that in mind I don't think the Bible for example mentions homosexuality without something negative following shortly thereafter

That being said what they are doing is despicable.
