Burgman 400 K8 review

Casual review of one of my two Red Burgman 400's. Correction: the unit is water cooled.

Yes I love my Kawa 900 but I do miss the Burgman. The 400 has several advantages over the 650. It's lighter, costs $2K less, easier to balance, gets better mpg, easier to service and I do like the instrument cluster much better. The 650 is faster, has no belt(not sure that's a real advantage)

One of the guys that bought my used one from Theil's is enjoying it. The 400 is the top seller scoot in the US and we know why... ;-)

Ça c'est une moto, franchement, jolie moto, j'ai toujours adoré le départ et le design du Burgman 400, surtout que c'est une moto très royale, on est un lion quand on roule sur ça, c'est un trône...

how muhc does it cost and how fast does it go?

@Aarons411  You can get last years model for about $6000 and top speed is 95 to 100 mph. New bikes are backed up do to the earthquake in Japan.

Great review! I own a 650exe, and I am thinking to trade it in for a 400. The 650 exe got some things I dont like. The instrument panel for instance and the engine breaking. Whats your experience? Thx John

@badchuckie You sure got that right. I think I like it better than any bike I've had. Those who have never ridden a real scooter just don"t get it.

@badchuckie somthing like..... now thats a bike. really, lovely bike. ive alwayse loved the look and design of the burg 400. above all its a very reghal bike, your a lio9n when you role on this, it's a throne.

gr8 bike...i just got a sym rv250 ......gr8 bike as well..but would to trade it in about 2yrs from now for a 400 or 650

That's a motorcycle, frankly, pretty bike, I loved the start and the design of the Burgman 400, especially since it is a very royal motorcycle, it is a lion when it runs on is a throne ...
