YT didn't care much for my song and banned it worldwide...so I had to upload it elsewhere for the competition.

Editor's Notes: For this challenge I really wanted to keep things simple narratively, as opposed to my last entry which was very story-driven. One of the things that I've always loved about the genre of science fiction is that it lets you tell these amazingly big, epic stories...but ones that are grounded in human emotion. This video is specifically aimed at honoring all of the amazingly resilient female characters to come out of the genre in recent years.

I didn't manage to get everyone in there as much as I would have liked (sorry SGA ladies!) but I may re-edit this at some point and try to spread the wealth a little bit more. I simply ran out of time this go-around, thanks to my hard-drive deciding to up and die earlier this week.

Judges Note: There's a slight glitch in the second chorus that I couldn't get out prior to uploading. It's nothing major but know that it's not at all intentional.

This was FABULOUS! You know how much I love my female characters so this just made me incredibly gleeful. I love that you included Melvemberline and that you ended it with that gorgeous Juliet scene. Just a really beautiful vid.

@valamd Oh, you really, REALLY should. The [friend-]chemistry between the main cast is just so fantastic. I loved Ten, but Eleven's clan has got to be my favorites. And Eleven is like a 9 year old in a 900 year old's body - SO great. You really should watch S5 and 6. And I'm definitely starting Farscape there, then. Which means I have another sci-fi show to fill the void once I've caught up with Eureka! Hoorah!
