watching a video of how its done is so helpful. I've tried to learn decrease stitch with books and it just never made any damn sense and it kept me from doing projects other than scarves. This simplified everything. Thanks!

I'm not sure what stitch you're talking about exactly. It could be Stocking Stitch.
