i'm quite sure they did...
at the end of the goro fight i put the quote 'kung fu this bitch' which is the name of a kombo in mk9,i used the quote'welcome to my nightmare' which is the 2nd fatality name in mk9,also the quote 'i am eternal' which is also a kombo name in mk9...all coincidences? ;)
