  • It definitely can be done. Pavement temperatures can be as high as 150 degrees!

  • 105F+ temps > Apply a very light coating of cooking oil in cast iron skillet. Lay the skillet on "black: pavement directly in the sun at the hotest point of the day. Leave it there for at least an hour. Crack an outside temperature egg (not a cold egg) into the pan. You'll be suprised that it won't take that long to cook.
