I'd imagine that it came down so fast because it was meeting resistance every step of the way. It would naturally come down gradually anyway if it didn't hit anything, but can-->can-->can-->can-->etc., slowed it down sooner.

Yeah that is my assumption....It hitting the bottom and coming back up the last few cans was pretty weird though...

The angled metal around the bottom of the 5th-to-last can looks like the culprit re: the upward deflection near the end. Have a can of pop & see if there's around twenty FIVE more empties around, Eh ? Neat vid with an interesting result.

Yeah thats what i was guessing, probably bounced as it lost enough speed that it couldn't go clean through so it just deflected......I collect my roomates pop cans, crush them, and return them for money LOL

weird how it went down then up, well I understand the up part maybe... but why did it's trajectory go down... and so quickly?

..what mod? ...piston and/or spring?
