@mikedrummer00 Lake's performance of this song isn't exactly bad, but it's somewhat deadpan without as emotion. This cover summons up something other than than the jaded attitude of the original, so it's quite appropriate to put something deeper and more emotional into it. Bono is a superior singer to Lake in general, too, most definitely in this song.
