Very heavy train provides lots of wheel slip and steam as 1095 pulls out of Hengshan for the CNR exchange. Note the other 3 SY's in the background - 0804, 1340 and 0341.

  • why the hell do chinese steamers have air horns for whistles??

  • Most Chinese steamers actually have both. Some systems rarely use the airhorns over the whistles, where as others are vice versa. Actually being there, I couldn't care less if Tom Jones was pumping out of a smoke box mounted ghetto blaster! Incredible place and fast fading away...

  • looks like the hogger did not put the sanders on, lots of slipping, but still a good vid, heard china is getting like the usa, getting rid of all the steam engines!

  • I've gotta say, when I heard that whistle in the background, it sent shivers up my spine, its so erie.

  • better than the modern crap we get in the UK. Should have kept all our Steam trains

  • It doesnt have a website. So many Steam Locomotives exist in Both China and India.

This vid may be a recent piece.

  • what website is it on
