Norwegian Epic launched in June 2010, with world-class entertainment as its hallmark. For the first time at sea, Blue Man Group performs their exhilarating fusion of comedy, theatrics and paint, exclusively on Norwegian Epic. In the only "big top" at sea, Cirque Dreams™ and Dinner performs its one-of-a-kind interactive theatrical dining experience with music, mayhem and acrobatic imagination. Legends in Concert, the original and world's greatest live tribute show, is featured for the first time at sea in more than a decade, along with The Second City® improvisational comedy and Howl at the Moon, the world's greatest rock 'n roll dueling piano show that encourages audience participation. New York-based Slam Allen Band rocks the house with down-home blues in Fat Cats Jazz and Blues club.

In addition to world-class entertainment, the 4,100-passenger Norwegian Epic incorporates many innovations including several new types of accommodations; unique nightlife with the first SVEDKA Ice Bar at sea and Spice H20; an expansive Aqua Park with the only tube slide and largest bowl slide at sea -- The Epic Plunge; seven decks of Freestyle Family Fun with highlights including a 33-foot high, 64-foot wide extreme rock climbing wall and the first ever rappelling wall at sea; the most bowling lanes at sea with six; a mixed-use sports deck with the ability for guests to engage in eight different athletic activities; as well as three separate kids' and teen activity areas. In addition, Norwegian Epic offers more than 20 dining choices and 20 bars and lounges.

Norwegian Epic sails alternating seven-day Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises itineraries every Saturday from Miami through April 2011. Eastern Caribbean sailings make stops in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands: Philipsburg, St. Maarten; and Nassau, Bahamas. On her Western Caribbean sailings, Norwegian Epic visits Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico and Roatan, Honduras. In May 2011, Norwegian Epic will make her home in Barcelona, Spain, sailing to the Western Mediterranean.

  • I loved this cruise ship!

  • This is a big ship with tons of restaurants and entertainment (I highly recommend the Cirque Dreams although additional charges is required). The only complaint I have is such a big ship doesn't even have a formal library. Loud music everywhere - the only quiet place I could find was my own statemroom.

  • the ship looks really fun and seems like an awesome vacation to go on but the only thing about this ship is the bow and stern look really ugly...

  • @GoKetchum14 Well, found out that ship isn't going work for the port I wanna sail from..looks like Carnival Dream, or RCL Freedom of the Seas.

  • @Wayneman117 i liked the oasis going on this ship soon

  • @barley315 were the nickelodeon characters there ?

  • folks, having never cruised before, we are thinking about going in 2013. I have 2 smaller kids..not babies, but not teens. We're not sure hich ship to go with or cruise line. The Disney cruises seem to be over priced,sooo...Carnival...Royal or Norwegian? Epic? Dream, or Oasis? Any thoughts????

  • THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING CRUISE EVER!!! stayed in haven - PRIVAYE POOL, GYM, SPA, RESTAURANT, ELEVATOR, BOW ACCESS, AND LOUNGE. amazing!!!!!!!!! dont say anything bad about it untill youve experienced it.
