The Lost Lake Resort near Blythe, Calif. has worked to prevent further gasoline leaking into soil and groundwater. EPA and the Colorado River Indian Tribes Environmental Protection Office monitored cleanup work to ensure that all activities and decisions are protective of public health and the environment.

  • also, fertilizer from the alfalfa crops on the other side,near poston are fertilized and pestisided with chemicals that possibly leach into the river- it was or is an issue since the 1970's.
