As my discharge date approached numerous amounts of controversy overwhelmed me. The two biggest burdens were my divorce and possible incarceration. During that time I wrote this song, things could of ended a lot worse but some things ended up pannig out for me. Like my military service I was allowed to leave honorably and ended up getting my G.I. Bill as well. Yet I still published this song because I realized there are so many people out there where the situation did not end good for them so hopefully this song will help them know that they are not alone.

I can understand what he's trying to say as far as PTSD goes and the way that the goverment is trying to fuck our guys over. My uncle was fucked up to begin with yet his time in Vietnam made him worse. I come from a military family and I'm proud of that. These extended deployments are pushing troops to the braking point or even over the edge.

I love this video. They relly do go through a lot when they return. I wish my husband wouldn't of left me though. I stayed by him 9 years but he said he couldn't put me through anymore. We are still best friends and I will do anything for him and hope he works through whatever it is so we can work through our marriage. We did't divorce either. So for the service men please know there are still some good woman out there that stand by there men and don't make there selfs army whores
