@HellbladeHero What makes rock, orchestra, jazz or Dubstep different from one another? The MUSIC is all created on the same 13 note scale (including sharps and flats). The difference is the style its created in.

Ghost and Stuff by Deadmou5 still has the most recognized melodies to date. They heavy basslines ARE the styles of this music. In this style, the melody may even be IN the bass line. And you can't say this has "erratic" drum patterns, have you listened to all the styles of Rock music?

There is definitely rhythm. I think we can all hear the melody and harmony. And there sure as hell is color.

An electronic instrument is still an instrument. It is digitally created, instead of created through the means of wood or brass. Hell even the sounds of Brass and wood instruments are digitally engineered.
