Sobre el agua - On the water

La obra, creación de Rosana Barragán, es sobre el hundimiento de la ciudad de México. Los componentes - movimiento, video y sonido - están motivados por las características que tienen los lugares de la ciudad donde se hace más evidente este hundimiento y las sensaciones provocadas por ellos. Sobre el agua reúne tres cuerpos que se mueven sobre video y acompañados de música electroacústica en la nave principal de una iglesia. El trabajo propone que el público esté activo y lo perciba desde tres lugares distintos.

The work, created by Rosana Barragán, is about the sinking of Mexico City. The components -- movement, video and sound -- are motivated by the characteristics of the places in the city where the sinking is more evident and the sensations provoked by them. On the water places three bodies in the main space of an old church. They move over the projection of the video on the floor and with electroacustic music. The work proposes that the audience is active moving along the space to perceive the dance from three different perspectives.
