Charice needs to lose her accent and perfect her music by going to where competition will challenge her -- not Cebu or Indonesia. BTW, dissenters, don't bother responding because I won't read your response/s. AUTOMATIC DELETION.

I love Charice and like to follow her every move, BUT...I don't believe she'll ever be a big international star if she keeps going home to the Philippines and staying there for months. Just look at her tour sites: Indonesia, Cebu, Araneta Coliseum...It's good to remember where you came from and stay loyal to your country, but NOW is the time to move to bigger and better things and Cebu and Indonesia are not. !

LEA AND CHARICE I LOVE U! HELL YEAH DON'T COMPARE LEA AND CHARICE AT THEIR AGE GAP THEY ARE BOTH DIFFERENT LEVEL OF ACHIEVEMENTS FOR LEA SHE'S ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED ALL HER DREAM AND FOR CHARICE THIS IS ONLY A BEGINNING FOR HER WE MUST SUPPORT OUR KABABAYAN. LUK AGAIN THIS IS NOT A BOXING OR MIXMARTIAL ARTS ARENA IF UR FAMILY IS FIGHTING EACH OTHER LIKE PULLING HAIR SLAP FACE PUNCHING ROLLING TO DA FLOOR THAT'S UR FAMILY BUT DON'T DO THIS TO LEA AND CHARICE THEY RESPECT EACH OTHER.

@aldrinhu You're correct. People should not be comparing Ms. Salonga and Charice because Charice is NOTHING compared to the Philippines' internationally-awarded and acclaimed musical theater star. Salonga holds a world record and many firsts and has had a solid 30 years in her profession. To date, Charice is STILL trying to get full recognition in her field of pop music. And Charice should be thankful that the veteran Ms. Salonga supports her!

However, Charice DOES deserve all the accolades and support for penetrating the field of pop music. While she won't be another Britney Spears or Madonna (let's face it: Charice is not caucasian, so she won't ever get the mainsream US following), she shows the world that she's WAY MORE talented than all these so-called pop superstars - combined!

DUH. Lea is at the top of her field. To date, she's the ONLY actress in the ENTIRE history of theater to have won both the Olivier and Tony Awards for a single role. And she remains INTERNATIONALLY active to this day, with another Broadway lead role on the way. Has Charice accomplished anything even REMOTELY close? Has Charice won a Grammy? Has she had a #1 album?

@pustitch kaibigan wag na natin silang ipagcompare dahil parehas silang pinay na sumikat sa buong mundo okay peace

I've followed Lea's career from her "Annie" and I cannot but say that she has a lot of CLASS! Unlike some with pseudo-talent-egotistically-bo
osted-by-pseudo-physical-beaut y. I'm a HUGE fan of Charice, too and I feel confident that she also will stay classy. With what I've seen and heard, I have nothing but ADMIRATION for Lea and Charice. There are a lot of talents in PI but currently, these two are the cream! -
LOVE U LEA

Crab mentality talaga ng mga pilipino nakakainis. Anu ba sinabi ni Lea na mali?
@MsRosebabe Lea Salonga is already successful and has a name in the broadway and classical world. I don't think she's jealous or anything. She's much more professional than that. Plus, both are extremely talented. We should just be proud Filipinos who have Lea Salonga and Charice.
