Fields of Gold - Sting (Fingerstyle Guitar)

This is another arrangement by Igor Varfolomeev. It's not fancy, but I found it to be more challenging than I expected. The right hand fingering patterns were confusing to me. It's been a royal pain. Anyway, here's another failure. Time to move on to another victim.

If this is a failure then I think I should give up playing guitar! You have inspired me to learn this, and you are correct in your assessment of this, I am finding it difficult - a bit like trying to peel an orange in your pocket!, but, whenever I feel defeated by it, I replay your video and become encouraged again, and it's given me the strength to perservere. @bachadagio Thanks, Tim. It's not really a technically difficult piece, but the pattern confused me for a long time. Eventually, it'll come to you. Some things take longer.

Aaahhh a whole new wave of inspiration, learning this song is my next project!! Listening to my grandfather play made me want to learn to play the guitar. 21 years later i would class myself as competent but my goal is to inspire my grandchildren to want to learn thus completing some strange circle of life :) then i will hand one of them my currently 23 year old fender strat and say something like "i hope t brings you as much happiness as it has brought me"
