same way we create rockets that can fly even though we can't do it without them. 7 billion human brains can come up with quite a bit, but our capacity to produce thought and math answers (computing power) is still finite, whereas a computer could just be made biggger and faster, then bigger and faster again until it evolves past us.

how is it possible for humans to creat a computer that exceeds the computational capabilities of the entire human species?

You should really read up on free-will, most people of your way of thinking seems to always forget about that.--------- f.r.e.e. w.i.l.l.

Exceeding computational capability of human brain is not the same thing as Exceeding thinking capacity of human brain.

Just cuz it can add and multiply really fast doesn't mean it can make good decisions.

Not long ago the average life span was 40 years and before that 20 years. Are you to tell me god was the reason for this? For our granted ability to extend life, to travel the stars to understand our nature and existence much more?

I cannot simply believe that your god would be willing to accept this, he did not accept the fact that adam and eve ate the sacred apple yet, we have done it again but to no consequence with the Gnome project. So now tell me, will you shun me for my lack of belief?
