Did You Know?

Not long ago the average life span was 40 years and before that 20 years. Are you to tell me god was the reason for this? For our granted ability to extend life, to travel the stars to understand our nature and existence much more?

I cannot simply believe that your god would be willing to accept this, he did not accept the fact that adam and eve ate the sacred apple yet, we have done it again but to no consequence with the Gnome project. So now tell me, will you shun me for my lack of belief?

I believe and read believe that these ideas will once pass and become a part of our history as a society, and I also believe it very much needs to do so quickly but it probably wont happen in my lifetime or any of ours.

We are now verging on become gods ourselves, we can modify genes on a fruit fly to give it an extra pair of wings. We can clone animals and within a century will have determined a way to extend life beyond our relative 80 year expectancy.

The simple facts that these beliefs are old, misguided and misunderstood. You claim its peer pressure, I claim its simple study of life and nature itself. We are afraid of death and thus we create a father figure that loves us and cares for us and will never let us perish into the unknown, this is comforting to those in their deathbeds but not to me.

I don't take solace in the idea that someone is constantly watching us, cares and loves us but does nothing to help us.

I do not think any computer will ever exceed the human mind. It has been studied that humans only use about 10% of their brain, sometimes less. That leaves a lot of unknowns. The mind is a mystery and it will continue to be one.

Hey, if the cybercriminals have the ability to evade authorities and always remain ahead of the game, why is it so difficult to admit that the content of this video is so close to reality?
