If Don Johnson was to sing it alone, I think only only the vagrant and pitiful fool would buy this song. Don was such a horrible even if minus one. Don voice is just like a broken stereo and it is only Babra that makes this song lovely. That speaks for the messy guy ( not a man I say ) and the true lady in Babra.

This is my favorite 'duet' song of Barbra's--I thought her and Don Johnson's voices blended perfectly--there are worse singers than he!
