Just cooked the rear on my gixxer. 2CT's burn up fast! I have Dunlops on my VFR and they seem to last longer but the 2CT's are a lot better in the canyon.

So due to the linked braking system, you were pulling the front break, which activates the rear and did a burn out. You change out your rear pads and wharped rotor too?
Ouch!

The brakes are not linked on my bike. I hated the linked system so I disabled it. I did end up replacing the rotor and pads anyway cause they were getting thin

The tire was flat and very bald after my 1,400 mile straight ride from San Diego, California to Houston, Texas. So I decided screw it,,,,,,ill just blow it before I change it on my tire changer.
